White River Loop – Wamic Extension
Development Route / by Captain ‘O’
![]() |
A longer version of the White River Loop for those that are a bit more adventurous or for those looking for a great introductory bikepacking route. For bike packers, this route offers plenty of campsites at the halfway point and has two general stores along the route.
We have ridden most of this route and the section that we did not ride (miles 28 to 40) we have driven by Jeep. It is a really, really good route!
The reason this route is “relegated” to Training Route status is that it is: (a) a longer version of an existing 5 Star route, (b) 12 miles have not been ridden by the Dirty Freehub Team and (c) it re-traces 10 miles of the Tygh My Shoes route in the same direction.
