Cannibal
Cannibal: a person who route that eats the flesh of other human beings. (Or maybe … a mountain top along the way.)
This route showcases the raw beauty of the ancient Siuslaw National Forest and some of its seriously stout hills. It is a take-off of the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic (Abomination route), but instead of the start / finish in Waldport the start / finish is in Yachats.
If you are looking for a shorter route, in the same general area, check out Burnt Timber.
The Dirty Freehub Team has not ridden this route, thus the Training Route designation.

Did part of this ride 8/15/2020 & started later than expected, @ 2pm. We started our ascent at NF-53 & connected to NF-5304, which made the ride approximately 35.4 miles. Definitely a beautiful, remote ride and hope to return to do the full route with some bikepacking gear. There were some cars back there so be careful.
Just rode the loop portion on 8/1. Excellent route! About 50% tarmac of various quality. Not too much traffic on any section. One drawback – it’s forrested enough that there is not really any ocean views on any section. But as long as you can make due with only having gorgeous forest views, it’s a great ride!
Plenty of dispersed camping options along the route as well!
