Agness Went Rogue

Training Route

A ride through old growth forest (a mix of hardwood/conifer) and along 7 miles of the Rogue river including a 3 mile stretch with the Wild & Scenic designation. At the turn around point there is Singing Springs resort where food and water can be had. This also provides the opportunity to make the ride into a two day event with an overnight stop here.

The Dirty Freehub team has not ridden this course, but we believe it has 5 Star potential. Course by Tour de Frond. They run this route as an organized ride with full support each June.

  1. The “Wild & Scenic” stretch of the Rogue begins miles to the east. But you will see a scenic stretch of the Rouge for a short time. The dirt road going SE from the saddle is a lot of fun, but control your bike. It is a long way to a hospital in Gold Beach.

    1. I believe that the way we have the course mapped, the grave road to the SE of the saddle is climbed, not descended. When I mapped this, my intention was to use the gravel road to the southwest as descent due to the less steep incline and use the gravel road to the SE as the climb due to the steeper incline. Let me know if we should map this in a different direction. Thanks!
